Position Statements

The Disabled Children’s Association is dedicated to improving the lives of children with disabilities and their families. Our organization advocates for equal opportunities and full inclusion for all children with disabilities, regardless of their abilities. We believe that every child deserves the chance to reach their full potential, and it is our mission to help make that a reality.

In our efforts to support our mission, we have developed a set of position statements on key issues related to children with disabilities. These statements serve as a guide for our advocacy efforts and as a resource for families, communities, and policy makers.

Our position statements cover a range of topics, including:

  • Access to quality education: All children, including those with disabilities, have the right to a quality education that prepares them for success in the future.
  • Inclusion in the community: Children with disabilities should have the opportunity to fully participate in their communities and have access to the same experiences and opportunities as their peers without disabilities.
  • Access to healthcare: Children with disabilities should have access to the same level of healthcare as their peers, including preventative care, treatment, and rehabilitation services.
  • Assistive technology: All children with disabilities should have access to assistive technology and other tools that can help them reach their full potential.
  • Employment and economic opportunities: Children with disabilities should have equal opportunities to obtain employment and economic independence, just like their peers without disabilities.

We believe that by advocating for these positions, we can make a positive impact on the lives of children with disabilities and their families. We encourage all stakeholders to support our efforts to ensure that all children with disabilities are given the chance to reach their full potential.
