The Disabled Childrens Association (DCA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of disabled children and their families. Our team of professionals and volunteers are dedicated to providing the best possible care and support to every child we serve.

Please Meet Our Team!

  • Paul Camogliano, Director, co-founded DCA in 2014 assists the Disabled Children’s Association in areas of communications, systems usability consulting, and organizational administration. Paul is a private investor who resides in the Battery Park area of Manhattan and enjoys helping the organization at the Board level.
  • Martuza Ferdous, Director, joined DCA since 2022 and has a passion for advancing the interests of disabled children. An experienced Internet technology entrepreneur, Martuza was the co-founder and President of Epluribus Technologies, Inc. where he led a team of software engineers in creating a proprietary portfolio accounting system to monitor transactions and performance on client portfolios. He resides in the Greater Orlando area with his wife and two children and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems from Florida Atlantic University.
  • Heidi Hetzel R.N. serves as the Medical Review Coordinator, evaluating medical professionals’ backgrounds to ensure compliance with regulations and ethical standards. She collaborates with staff to assign qualified professionals, maintains accurate records, and updates policies and procedures. Heidi’s role is vital to ensure disabled children receive optimal care from qualified medical professionals. Heidi holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University.
  • Alexandria Perkins, Communications Manager, develops and executes a comprehensive communications strategy, creates content for various channels, builds relationships with stakeholders, maintains the DCA’s brand identity, and monitors media coverage. Alexandria supervises the communications team, manages the budget and plays a crucial role in promoting the DCA’s mission to a broad audience. She holds a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice, a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Central Florida.
  • Paul Perkins, Director, Director, founded DCA in 2014 and serves in an administrative and technical oversight capacity based on his love for children coupled with more than 35 years of experience in developing software and technology-related ventures in both the non-profit and for-profit sectors. Paul was a co-founder and President of American Securities Group, Inc., an SEC-registered broker-dealer and investment advisory firm. Paul holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Florida Atlantic University and a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree from Harvard University.
